Music is collaboration, it’s chaos, it’s resolution, it’s revolution, it’s anger, it’s love, it’s emotion.

I’ve hit rock bottom, and I don’t know Jesus, so I’m turning to something better: music. I wasn’t raised in a house with a lot of music, and as a kid, I wouldn’t be able to tell you who John Lennon was. If you aren’t raised with music, songs may sound familiar but you won’t know a thing about them.

So now I’m playing catch-up. But you can never really catch up with music. Every song borrows from other songs, and every artist is inspired by other artists. So I’m documenting great music I love here, and I’d love for you to follow along. Every week I will focus on a new artist, listen to a few of their albums, read about them, and connect with some of their fans.
